|TRADE NEWSWIRE|: This is to notify you that a twenty-foot container and petrol tanker laden with P.M.S – Premium Motor Spirit fell between Sango and Iyana-Ilogbo axis of Lagos-Abeokuta expressway in two consecutive days due to the bad state of the road that is now beyond vehicular passage and desperately yearning for urgent rehabilitation, TRADE NEWSWIRE reports.
It should be noted that the twenty-foot container fell at Sango, some few meters to Sango bridge on a vehicle lane heading towards Abeokuta before dawn on Thursday, 1st of March, 2018, while the fuel tanker fell at Iyana-Ilogbo bus-stop on a vehicle lane heading towards Abeokuta around 6. 30 am in the morning on Friday, 2nd of March .
The bad state of the road resulted into economic loss to companies who owe the container and petrol tanker, as it becomes very important and expedient to save Small and Medium Scale Enterprises from recording such huge losses by the day, not to talk of human lives that could be lost during such avoidable accidents.
As at press time, the twenty-foot container and a petrol tanker are yet to be lifted off the road and as resulted into serious traffic problem on that axis, making road users to loose considerable man-hour by the day.
I humbly appeal to you to come to the rescue of road users of Sango to Iyana-Ilogbo axis of Lagos Abeokuta expressway with prompt rehabilitation of the road before raining season which could make the case worse than the present situation, as road users are experiencing serious hardship by the day, complaining bitterly and angry with the government over the bad state of the road.
