Strategic performance of NPA MD Hadiza Bala Usman commands World Bank visit

 

(TRADE NEWSWIRE): The Strategic and outstanding performance of the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman, in piloting the affairs of the nation’s port system has in no doubt attracted the visit of the officials of the World Bank Group to the Authority, TRADE NEWSWIRE reports.

The visit of the Officials of the World Bank Group who were on a working visit to the Authority recently came barely few days after officials of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), from the Presidency, visited to salute the Management of NPA for exploiting Public Private Partnerships (PPP) initiative in the implementation of port-related developmental projects to the advantage of the nation’s economy.

It is instructive to note that the NPA MD, Hadiza Usman, a Socio-Economic reformer, had taken several strategic steps to achieve port efficiency and effectiveness in order to make Nigerian port globally competitive; create a friendly-business environment for port operators; and equally improve revenue generated into the government coffers.
