To President Buhari: The Brand ‘Muhammad Buhari’ and stratagem of antagonists to reduce its equity- Strategic report

(TRADE NEWSWIRE):  There is a grand plan to drastically reduce the equity of the ‘Brand Name’ Muhammad Buhari GCFR, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, ahead of the 2019 presidential election, TRADE NEWSWIRE reports.

The plan is to adopt a campaign of calumny against the government with respect to (a) Economy (b) Security (c) Corruption-related issues, so as to weaken the ‘Brand’ President Buhari, and make it less competitive ahead of the 2019 presidential election following their previous failed attempt to destroy it outrightly i.e (to seize to exist again).

For comprehensive understanding of the discus, I will like to first define the following terms before I proceed.

(Brand): is defined by Philip Kotler, as a term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of these intended to identify the goods or services of one seller or group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of competitors, TRADE NEWSWIRE reports.

(Brand equity): is the value of a brand, based on the extent to which it has high brand loyalty, name awareness, perceived quality, strong brand associations, and other assets such as patents, trademarks and channel relationship.

(Stratagem): is a trick that is ‘deceitfully’ adopted to outwit an opponent or achieve an end.

(Antagonist): is a person who is strongly opposed to something or someone

(Erode): To gradually worn away or being destroyed

1, The Brand in question is: President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR

2, The Brand equity: is President Muhammadu Buhari’s electoral value

3, Antagonist’ stratagems to destroy the ‘Brand’ President Muhammadu Buhari are in two forms namely Primary and Secondary stratagem

3a, Primary stratagem: To have President Muhammadu Buhari dead ahead of the 2019 presidential election either openly or covertly done- a plan that actually failed.

3b, Secondary stratagem: To erode President Muhammadu Buhari’s electoral value i.e Brand Equity with the negativities of (a) Economy (b) Security (c) Corruption in Nigeria.

4, Antagonists’ goal(s):

4a, Primary goal -To ensure that he is out of the way to contest the 2019 Presidential election to brighten-up their chances

4b, Secondary goal- even if he is alive and he contested the 2019 Presidential election; his Brand Equity would have been reduced to brighten-up the chances of antagonists.

6, Reason for wanting to either kill the brand President Muhammadu Buhari or reduce his Brand Equity is because President Buhari has a very strong brand equity, as brands vary in the amount of power and value in the market place and lower Political brands will find it hard to compete with a powerful Political Brand like that of President Buhari.

8a, Nigerian Economy: At the inception of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, efforts were made by antagonists of the President to strangulate the nation’s economy and use it to campaign against the government that it is not capable of handling the economy, but the gimmick failed later and the economy is gradually returning to normalcy.

8b, National security: The kite of insecurity was also flown to cause mayhem across the county with respect to different criminal acts, sponsored unrest and kidnapping inclusive, but it later failed.

8c, Corruption: The kite of corruption is the latest, first, while not saying that corrupt practices should be covered, as a matter of fact, exposing it is good for good governance of the country, but the fact remains that exposure of most alleged corrupt practices are not patriotically done but rather to tarnish the image the government and paint her as a corrupt government that has failed in its campaign trust of Fight Against Corruption so as to create a cheap opportunity for the antagonist, however, exposure of corrupt practices is good for the health of the country.

Mr. President, note the following with respect to corruption:

8c1, There is going to be heavy media campaign against the government with respect to inability to fight against corruption from now till end of 2018, as they have failed in their Primary stratagem of covertly wiping you off and equally in the adoption of Secondary stratagem of bad economy and insecurity to nail you and your government, what they have decided to use against you and the government now is failed Corruption fight.

8c2, The stratagem behind the campaign of calumny against you and the government with respect to failed Corruption fight is to reduce your Brand equity in order to brighten-up their political chances in the 2019 election.

8c3, If they continue the campaign of calumny against you and the government with respect to failed Corruption fight till mid 2018, you should know that it is either they are strategizing to present an anti-corruption personality to contest against you as the best alternative with respect to fighting corruption or they just want your Brand Equity reduced drastically to enable the Brand Equity of their likely candidate, which may not necessarily be an anti-corruption personality in this regard measure up with yours competitively.

1, From now till 2018/ 19 let your Media section create a Special Unit to handle News with respect  to showcasing achievements recorded by the government on the Fight against Corruption from inception of the government and it should be touted maximally to the public to know that government is actually working in that regards.

It should be noted that paying the right and increased revenue into the government coffers/ fight against corrupt practices as exemplified by Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) to mention a few compared to what was previously obtained among other anti-corruption strides are also part of the fight against Corruption and should be given the needed media exposure as requested of the suggested Anti-Corruption Special Unit to be created by the Presidential/ Government Media section.

2, All corruption cases at hand should be expediently treated upon conclusion of necessary investigation.

3, I will like to humbly suggest that the word ‘GOOD GOVERNANCE’ is what should be adopted as your Campaign Trust for the 2019 elections if you so decided to contest, reasons best known to me, as i wont be able to expantiate further beyond this sir.
